Returning Course Reserves

As you know, course reserves can be checked out from the Moffitt 3rd floor Circulation Desk. Most reserves have a 2 hour loan; some reserves are 1 day or 1 week. Because of the short loan period, fines accrue by the hour, so it is important to direct patrons appropriately if they indicate that they need to return a reserve item.

If the Moffitt 3rd floor Circulation desk is open, direct patrons there for both check out and check in of course reserves.

If the Moffitt 3rd floor Circulation desk is closed, direct patrons to the Moffitt 4th floor Circulation desk, where the books can be immediately checked in.

If it's after 9:45pm Friday or Saturday, when both Circulation desks at Moffitt close, patrons can return the books to the Moffitt 3rd floor book drop and they will be checked in by 10am the next morning.
