This is a reminder regarding a couple of persistent issues in our application of the new Moffitt access policies.
1) For entry, the student MUST have their physical Cal1 Card or yellow card. We will never accept a photograph or scan of their Cal1 Card, driver's license, or passport to grant access. Cal Central is also not recognized by campus as ID. Further, we cannot simply just look them by their ID number. The student must have their Cal1 or library card.
2) Students from other UC campuses can no longer show their campus ID to enter Moffitt through the 3rd and 4th floor entrances. They may apply at the Privileges Desk for a yellow library card that will grant them Moffitt access as well as borrowing privileges.
Other UC campus IDs may still be shown at the Main Stacks entrance in Doe for students. Please direct students to this entrance as necessary.
