Policy reminders

Mark Twain invites you to sit, but not in his lap.

Be sure to stop any patrons you see riding scooters/rollerskates/skateboards in the building! This behavior is unsafe, a liability, and against the library code of conduct.

Further, if you're seated at Doe North and see anyone trying to climb on the Mark Twain statue, please stop them. We let people sit next to Mark, but climbing on him is obviously not allowed. 

This should go without saying, but these scenarios were witnessed by a staff member as they were leaving the building. Please enforce building policies, stop unsafe behavior, and protect library property while you're seated at the desks!!
