Tour Group Policy

You have probably seen many tour groups enter Doe through Doe North. Have you ever encountered a group and thought, "Now, this is just TOO big"?

Whenever a large tour group arrives (more than 20), we need to tell the tour guide that they need to bring in just 20 people at a time, so the tour does not cause a disturbance to the students studying in the library. In the case of small children, the tour guide may need to be notified that it is their responsibility to keep the children under control (meaning that they may opt to bring in fewer than 20 in one go).

It's also a good idea to let tour guides know about our food and drink policy, so that they can tell the group before entering the building. It's much harder to call out the individual offenders as they are entering in one big mob.
