Doe TV (Doe NORTH) - Infodesks turn ON and OFF (open and close respectively)

DoeTV, a means by which the Library can showcase/advise the public about resources in the building, went live this afternoon!

The Doe NORTH Infodesk staff that OPENS the library each morning will be responsible for turning on the DoeTV console, this is very simple (see below):

When Closing the Library, Locate the power button, push once and a menu will appear (see below).  Turns out the button is actually a little joystick thingy, PULL THIS TOWARD YOU, it will move the highlighted region to Power Icon...PUSH BUTTON one more time to select "Power Off", TV will shut off, your are done...thanks!
It's very basic, but VERY crucial it is done properly every day, opening and closing, if you are unsure about the above, please ask me or a coworker to show you the process.

It goes without saying, but NO ONE besides our Infodesk staff should be touching the DoeTV, if anyone is doing weird stuff or poking around the screen advise them against it, if they persist CALL SECURITY.

If the TV stops cycling through the preset images or goes dark for some reason, please call the Info Desk Supervisor.

Last thing, if you have any suggested topics or information you are asked frequently that you think could be included in the topics, please let the Info Desk Supervisor know for possible inclusion into DoeTV.
