Tech support for Moffitt classrooms
The other day our Moffitt 3 InfoDesk encountered an interesting situation: an instructor from a Moffitt classroom was having issues with their in-class projector and was asking us for technical support.
So, what are we supposed to do when a Moffitt classroom needs technical assistance?
Not much! Professors will need to call Berkeley ETS Instructor Support Team.
Instructors experiencing classroom support issues that need immediate attention, please call the Classroom Hotline at 510-642-2800 (Press 1)
We do not call ETS on behalf of the instructors, as ETS will first attempt some troubleshooting over the phone before they dispatch anyone to the classroom.
Though classrooms are located within the library, any technology within the rooms are not library services and thus are not maintained by library staff. Likewise, any technology/equipment requests will need to be made to ETS, not the library.
This number can now be found in the blog Contacts widget and on the phone sheet for easy access.
