Here's another question you are going to get over the summer.
At the beginning of Fall and Spring semesters, tours meet at the north entrance to Doe Library for a guided tour of Doe Library, the Main (Gardner) Stacks, and Moffitt Library.
These tours will be advertised on the Library Web homepage, under the Exhibits and Events link.
Throughout the year, tours can be arranged for UC Berkeley classes and other campus organizations by appointment. Contact the Doe/Moffitt Tour Coordinator, Glenn Gillespie at ggillesp@library.berkeley.edu. (Again, only available for campus groups!)
By the way, if someone wants to see the Main Stacks and does not have a research purpose, they can ask at the Doe entrance if they can peak over the edge of the railing on Level A.
If they are interested in campus tours, direct them to the the Visitor's Center in 101 Sproul Hall.
